Green supply chain management system certification
RB/T089-2022
01
Service Introduction
The certification of green supply chain management system is a systematic evaluation mechanism for enterprises to put the concepts of environmental protection and resource conservation into the whole life cycle of supply chain. It aims to help enterprises build a green management system from product design, raw material procurement, manufacturing, warehousing and transportation to recycling through a standardized management framework. This certification comprehensively examines the environmental management performance of enterprises in all aspects of the supply chain, and finally grants the enterprise a certificate valid for three years.
Certification level and evaluation system
Green supply chain management system certification usually adopts the assessment method of pass/fail, and the core is to examine the following dimensions:
Green supply chain management strategy: top management commitment, green development strategic planning, management policy and goal setting.
Green product design: application of ecological design concept, environmental impact assessment of product life cycle, recyclable and detachable design.
Green supplier management: supplier environmental access standards, supplier environmental performance evaluation, green procurement mechanism and supplier collaborative improvement.
Green production process: cleaner production audit, pollutant emission control, resource and energy conservation, and substitution of toxic and harmful substances.
Green warehousing logistics: transportation path optimization, reduction and recycling of packaging materials, energy saving of storage facilities and emission control.
Green recycling and reuse: recycling system of waste products, remanufacturing and resource utilization, and standardized disposal of waste.
Green information platform construction: supply chain environmental information data collection, green information disclosure and information sharing mechanism.
Green performance evaluation: environmental performance indicator monitoring, compliance evaluation and continuous improvement mechanism.
Certification process
Green supply chain management system certification is usually divided into the following stages:
Application and acceptance: submit application materials (business license, system documents, production process flow chart, etc.), and the certification body will conduct application review to confirm that the organization has the basic conditions for certification (the system has been running for 3 months, internal audit and management review have been completed, and there is no record of serious environmental violations).
The first stage audit: document audit and site preparation evaluation, review the compliance of green supply chain system documents with standard requirements, and confirm the adequacy of the second stage audit preparation.
The second stage of audit: carry out on-site audit, including personnel interview, document record inspection, production site inspection, supplier management practice inspection, evaluate the compliance and effectiveness of the system, and identify nonconformities.
Certification decision and certification: certification certificate will be issued after the technical review is passed, confirming that the organization meets the standard requirements, and the certificate is valid for three years.
Supervision and audit: conduct supervision and audit once a year after obtaining the certificate (the interval shall not exceed 12 months) to confirm that the system continues to meet the certification requirements.
Re-certification audit: Re-certification audit is conducted before the certificate expires, and the certification qualification is extended, usually for three years.
Certification value
Avoid compliance risks: ensure that all links meet the requirements of environmental protection laws and regulations through systematic management, and avoid production suspension and fines caused by violations; Adapt to international regulations (such as EU carbon tariffs) in advance to avoid export obstruction.
Reduce operating costs: adopting green production measures (such as recycling water and waste heat recovery) can significantly reduce resource consumption, maximize resource utilization and reduce manufacturing costs.
Enhance market competitiveness: it is easier for certified enterprises to enter the supplier system of large domestic and foreign enterprises (such as Apple, Toyota and Haier); The certification results can be used as proof of the core competitiveness of government procurement and bidding.
Enhance corporate image: Create a responsible corporate image in the field of green supply chain, enhance the trust of upstream and downstream partners and consumers, and product sales can be significantly improved.
Get policy support: the certified enterprises can get priority in green credit and cooperation of government green procurement projects, and enjoy the policy incentives of local governments in green technology research and development and green facilities construction.
Promote technological upgrading: certification requirements promote enterprises to introduce cleaner production technologies and form technical barriers for a long time; Optimize the efficiency of supply chain coordination and promote the digitalization of supply chain
Avoidance of green trade barriers: Help enterprises adapt to the international green procurement mechanism and meet the requirements of international carbon regulatory policies such as the European Union's carbon border adjustment mechanism (CBAM).
