Service Introduction

Asset management system certification is an authoritative certification mechanism for organizations to systematically evaluate the ability of asset value realization, risk control and cost optimization. It aims to help organizations establish an asset life cycle management system through a standardized management framework and maximize asset performance. This certification is mainly based on the international standard of GB/T 33173-2016 ISO 55001:2014 Asset Management System Requirements, which comprehensively inspects the whole process of the organization's asset management, such as strategic planning, decision-making implementation and daily maintenance, and finally grants the organization a certificate with a validity period of three years.

Certification level and evaluation system

The asset management system certification usually adopts the pass/fail evaluation method, and the core inspection includes the following dimensions:

Organizational environment: understand the organization and its internal and external environment, identify the needs of interested parties, determine the scope of asset management system, and establish asset management system.

Leadership: Top management promises, formulates asset management policies, defines organizational roles, responsibilities and authorities, and establishes asset management committees or groups.

Planning: identify asset risks and opportunities, set asset management objectives, and plan measures to achieve the objectives.

Support: resource allocation guarantee, personnel ability evaluation and training, awareness cultivation, communication mechanism establishment, and documented information control.

Operation: operation planning and control, change management and outsourcing process control.

Performance evaluation: monitoring and measurement analysis, compliance evaluation, internal audit and management review.

Improvement: correction of nonconformities, continuous improvement mechanism and preventive measures.

Certification process

Asset management system certification is usually divided into the following stages:

Application and review: submit application materials (business license, system documents, etc.), and the certification body will apply for review to confirm that the organization has the basic conditions for certification (the system has been in operation for 3 months, and the internal audit and management review have been completed).

First-stage audit: review documents and evaluate site preparation, review the compliance of system documents with standard requirements, and confirm the adequacy of second-stage audit preparation.

The second stage audit: conduct on-site audit, including personnel interview, document record inspection and on-site practice inspection, evaluate the compliance and effectiveness of the system, and identify nonconformities.

Certification decision and certification: certification certificate will be issued after the technical review is passed, confirming that the organization meets the standard requirements, and the certificate is valid for three years.

Supervision and audit: conduct supervision and audit once a year after obtaining the certificate (the interval shall not exceed 12 months) to confirm that the system continues to meet the certification requirements.

Re-certification audit: Re-certification audit is conducted before the certificate expires, and the certification qualification is extended, usually for three years.

Certification value

Optimize the whole life cycle management of assets: help organizations to establish a whole process management system from asset planning, procurement, use, maintenance to disposal, realize the balance between risk, cost and performance of assets, and improve asset utilization and output efficiency.

Reduce the cost of asset management: through meticulous management and precise control, avoid unnecessary expenses, prolong the service life of assets and reduce the overall operation and maintenance costs.

Enhance the ability of risk prevention and control: establish a sound risk identification, evaluation and response mechanism, discover and deal with potential risks in the process of asset management in time, and ensure the safety and stability of assets.

Improve scientific decision-making: provide accurate asset data and performance information, and provide reliable basis for management to make decisions on asset investment, maintenance and renewal.

Enhance market competitiveness: Certified enterprises can demonstrate standardized asset management capabilities to customers and partners, and have obvious advantages in bidding and supply chain access.

Meet compliance requirements: meet the compliance expectations of regulatory agencies, insurance companies and partners on asset management, and reduce legal risks and operational risks.
