Service Introduction
Customer Satisfaction Service Certification is an authoritative evaluation mechanism for organizations to systematically measure, analyze, and improve customer satisfaction. It aims to help organizations scientifically assess customer experience through standardized methods, continuously enhancing service quality and market competitiveness. This certification is primarily based on the national standard SB/T 10409-2025 "Specification for Customer Satisfaction Measurement in Commercial Service Industry", conducting a comprehensive review of the scientific nature, standardization, and effectiveness of an organization's customer satisfaction measurement system. Ultimately, it grants the organization a certification level of Level 3A to Level 5A or Compliance Level to Five-Star Level, with a certificate valid for three years.
Core Content of Certification
Customer Satisfaction Service Certification focuses on the full-process standardized management of customer satisfaction, with core assessments covering the following dimensions:
- Basic Requirements: Measurement requirements (rules transparent and open, indicators clearly quantified, data independently collected, results comparable, system flexible), data requirements (intellectual property protection, trade secret protection, privacy protection), improvement requirements
- Measurement Process: Preliminary preparation (project establishment, team formation, resource allocation), plan design (clear objectives, target identification, model selection, pilot measurement optimization), survey implementation (data collection, processing, analysis, validity testing), measurement report (result compilation, report writing, improvement suggestions)
- Measurement Elements: Customer-side elements (customer needs, customer expectations, cognitive level, customer characteristics), enterprise-side elements (brand image, environmental facilities, professional competence), service process elements (customer perception, service communication, customer reaction, error recovery)
- Application of Measurement Results: Formulation and implementation of improvement measures, verification of improvement effectiveness, reporting to management, alignment with strategic planning
Certification Process
The Customer Satisfaction Service Certification follows the measurement process specified in the SB/T 10409-2025 standard, typically divided into the following stages:
- Application and Acceptance: Submission of application materials (business license, system documents, measurement records, etc.), certification body conducts application review to confirm that the organization meets the basic certification conditions
- Document Review: Assessment of the conformity of measurement system documents with the SB/T 10409-2025 standard, confirming readiness for on-site review
- On-site Audit: Conducting on-site audits, including personnel interviews, document and record checks, traceability of measurement processes, demonstration of measurement systems, etc., to evaluate the conformity and effectiveness of the measurement system, and identify non-conformities
- Customer Satisfaction Survey (for some models): The certification body independently conducts a customer satisfaction survey in accordance with standard requirements, randomly sampling customer clients to measure various element dimensions
- Corrective Actions and Re-verification: For non-conformities identified during the audit, the organization completes corrective actions within a specified period and submits evidence, which is then reviewed by the audit team
- Certification Decision and Issuance: After technical review is passed, the certification certificate is issued, confirming that the organization meets the corresponding requirements. The certificate is valid for three years and can be verified on the website of the National Certification and Accreditation Administration (CNCA)
- Surveillance Audit: An annual surveillance audit (with an interval not exceeding 12 months) is conducted after certification to confirm that the measurement system continues to meet certification requirements
- Re-certification Audit: A re-certification audit is conducted before the certificate expires to extend the certification qualification, typically on a three-year cycle
Value of Certification
- Improving Service Quality and Customer Experience: Helps organizations systematically identify service shortcomings, analyze customer value, and continuously enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Enhancing Market Competitiveness: The certification certificate can serve as an "objective and quantifiable evaluation factor" in government procurement, bidding, investment attraction, etc., earning additional points in bids
- Optimizing Internal Management: Establishes a customer-focused culture, reduces subjectivity and arbitrariness through standardized measurement processes
- Reducing Operational Risks: Continuous satisfaction measurement effectively reduces customer complaints and disputes, and a sound measurement mechanism can prevent legal risks
- Enhancing Brand Reputation: Through independent third-party certification, demonstrates to stakeholders that the organization values customer voices and places customer experience at the core
- Promoting Continuous Improvement: Through annual surveillance audits and re-certification mechanisms, drives ongoing optimization and maturity of the measurement system, forming a virtuous cycle of "measure-analyze-improve"
- Improving Business Performance: Encourages organizations to improve products and services based on measurement results, enhances customer loyalty and recommendation rates, thereby boosting business performance and market share
