Green Building Materials: The Steel Entrance Door Certification is an authoritative certification mechanism for the systematic evaluation of the green and environmentally friendly performance of steel entrance door products. It aims to promote the green transformation of the entrance door industry through a tiered assessment system, achieving goals of energy conservation, emission reduction, low carbon, safety, convenience, and recyclability. This certification is primarily based on the group standard T/CECS 10054-2019 "Assessment for Green Building Materials—Steel Entrance Doors" , which was issued by the China Association for Engineering Construction Standardization on September 12, 2019, and officially implemented on March 1, 2020. The certification comprehensively examines the resource attributes, energy attributes, environmental attributes, and quality attributes of steel entrance door products, ultimately granting enterprises a One-star, Two-star, or Three-star green building materials product grading certification certificate, valid for five years .
Core Content of the Certification
The green building materials certification for steel entrance doors focuses on the green performance throughout the product's entire lifecycle, with core examination conducted across the following four attribute dimensions:
- Resource Attributes: Includes indicators such as the comprehensive utilization rate of solid waste during production, the degree of raw material localization, and water resource consumption. Encourages enterprises to use recyclable materials, reduce the environmental impact of transportation through localized procurement, and focus on the environmental performance of raw materials.
- Energy Attributes: Primarily focuses on energy consumption per unit product. The comprehensive energy consumption during the production process of steel entrance doors should meet the requirements of relevant energy consumption limit standards, including energy consumption control in processes such as panel processing, surface treatment, and assembly. The Three-star certification requires production energy consumption to reach industry advanced levels, encouraging enterprises to adopt energy-saving production processes and clean energy technologies.
- Environmental Attributes: Covers indicators such as air pollutant emissions, workplace dust concentration, wastewater discharge, and noise control. Production enterprises must legally obtain pollutant discharge permits and discharge pollutants according to the permit's stipulations. The collection, storage, and disposal of general solid waste must comply with the relevant provisions of GB 18599; the storage of hazardous waste must comply with the relevant provisions of GB 18597 and should subsequently be delivered to units holding hazardous waste operation licenses for disposal.

Certification Levels and Evaluation System
The green building materials product grading certification, based on the T/CECS 10054-2019 standard, classifies products into three levels from low to high according to the level of evaluation indicators achieved:
- One-star: Meets basic green evaluation requirements and complies with national basic standards for green building materials. Enterprises must satisfy all requirements of the control items, with each evaluation indicator reaching the One-star baseline value.
- Two-star: Performs well in resource conservation, energy consumption, environmental protection, etc., reaching an advanced industry level. The requirements for each evaluation indicator are stricter than those for One-star.
- Three-star: Demonstrates outstanding green performance, with the minimal impact on the ecological environment throughout the entire lifecycle. It is the highest level of green building material product. The Three-star level requires energy consumption per unit product to meet advanced value standards, with the most stringent requirements for each evaluation indicator.
The evaluation method also considers the inclusion of bonus items, including: proactively focusing on the environmental impact of the entire lifecycle (conducting environmental declarations through scientific methods such as LCA), using green electricity and other clean energy sources, completing energy management system certification, and establishing a green factory.
